Roar's chorus is a travesty. Ro oh oh oh oh oh Ro oh oh oh oh. What kind of Kidz Bop teas?
It does sound good on the radio & at like the town fair but nowhere else. That is how all Katy songs are though.
Clichés sell. The cringeworthy "What Doesnt Kill You Makes You Stronger / Stand A Little Taller" resurrected Kelly's career from whatever food coma it was in for so many years.

But don't come for Belly and then stan for St!nk. She's the exact same with her songwriting.
If anything, it's the other way around. I won't speak for Katy yet, but regardless of what others achieve, Taylor is going to be in her own lane: the success or competition from other pop stars and trends isn't going to hamper her success.
Idk it might just be me but i just love it when artists have eras that actually become eras. Teenage Dream may not have sold 21 #s but it was truly enjoyable. I don't understand why an artist decides to spent the best part (or longer) on an album, release a 13/14+ track project, drop 2 singles then go on tour.
Like, i just cant take Rihanna's albums seriously bc it doesn't show any growth at all.
