Katy has become even a bigger digital monster (I mean her performance so far is astonishing), radio monster, more global than ever, etc.
Roar is the worst song tho. Like its so bad. I thought it was generic but tolerable on first few listens but I can't even stand it anymore. Katy literally took every cliche possible and rolled it up into a song. It's so cringeworthy.
Her success is unreal tho. The song is completely killing it on iTunes and radio, and now internationally. I still don't think her album is gonna open big (300k is my guess at this point) but you never know.
If people are paying to see you in concert definitely means that you AREN'T over.
Ummm no Madonna/Rolling Stones/Springsteen etc are all touring monsters but they're still irrelevant, no matter how you look at it.

LOL, I don't understand the delusion around Aura. The chorus is great but the verses are overproduced, loud, obnoxious, etc. The verse lyrics are beyond unrelatable.
Katy always has lead single success. This isn't a surprise. We already know who's going to win in the end. Remember IKAG went number 1 and her album went top 10. But who wound up with a record breaking tour, 2 number 1 singles, and awards galore?
