as for the snippets the record sounds a bit more toned down than perfectionist
but listening to the lyrics, and inspiration behind it, Natalia definitely grew up artistically
Her vocals are on point, the lyrics are no a "harassment to non-native speakers" nor difficult to understand/relate on
But yet very personal and so well written.
The sound may be a more "happier" than before
But the whole product is tragic and a weird ode to suicide, dying, lovers who treat you wrong, drugs, money and family issues and what not.
So I feel like Natalia wanted to be ironical and cynical in this record and sing about the things that have had hurt her the most on funky/happy beats. I loved it, and I can't wait to get the album.
