'Femme Fatale', 'Bionic' & 'Warrior' are sort of a trinity.
They're three albums that are totally underrated and weren't very successful, yet they are all near musical perfection (This still doesn't put them on the scale of my favorite albums, tho). They're really great, and most people don't seem to feel the same way... I mean, the GP obviously didn't.
I know you said they're not on the scale of your favorite albums, but goodbye
What does X's letter say? It's too long for me to skim and get a general thought of it
Basically, she isn't here for success. Her music is meant to mean things to her fans and that it serves a higher purpose than being a hit.
She's also basically resigning her status as one of the pop girls.
Finally, she's also writing her next album, but she's taking more time on it than usual. It apparently won't go all out like her first three, and even though she enjoyed those eras, they weren't the highlights of her life.

What every popstar says after flopping: even though my last single was a Max Martin/Shellback pop song about how much I love anonymous sex, I actually only care about art and not success or charts.
