Maybe you don't know much about business, but a devaluing of a brand is never a good thing. The reason why most people would love to have a Porsche or a Jaguar is not simply because they are good vehicles, but it is because of the image surrounding the brand image of the cars. And that's what keeps those brands selling. But eventually, if everyone were to attain a Jaguar, then the exclusivity factor of them would fall, no longer making them wanted by everyone. And that's what's going to happen to iPhones, especially if the 5C is released.

Here, any phone that is high end, but not a Samsung/Apple is impressive.
People swoon over my friends' HTC, Lumias and Xperias here. Owning one of those 3 here makes you cool, while owning a Samsung and/or an iPhone is "standard". I never seen anybody flinch over the S4, but they all drool over an Xperia Z.
I'm so happy with my Lumia 710, I've had it for over a year now. Some will say that WP7 is obsolete, but I'm pretty satisfied with it, WP8 hasn't received too many updates so in terms of features they're not very different. I have all the apps that I need and now that the Facebook app update is confirmed I'll be okay until January when my contract is up.

I personally love everything about stock Android. The lack of all of the ugly fonts and formats that come with preloaded bloatware make the OS simply gorgeous. The phone itself, is something I'm not too amazed by. I like the fact that the fact that it's made of glass--I hate plastic phones. But I don't like the shape of it; its too boxy.
