S&S is one of the biggest songs of 2013, and don't say it's just a feature because will.i.am never had a mediatraffic entry this decade whereas Britney has 2 times. Britney sang more on the song and has about equal camera time and the most referenced line of the song is 'Britney bitch' and 'All eyes on us' both from Britney. Lastly, will.iams biggest song (prior to S&S) has 130 million VEVO views whereas Britney's I Wanna Go has 140. Even wil.i.am himself gave Britney the credit.

She's #9 on the BB Social 50. A chart using a formula blendingan artist weekly additions of friends/fans/followers along with artist page views and weekly song plays, as measured by Next Big Sound.

Girl what? Britney stopped being a big media draw completely in early 2008 after the breakdown/conservatorship started. The press backed off of her after that. She had 2 eras after that so how has the music not sustained her? If anything, the songs are the only thing sustaining her since Brit hardly does promo. And seeing as you want to bring her up, since 2011, our dear Beyoncé has been sustained by a Superbowl performance, a documentary and a well received world tour. What else would you require sustain her in the absence of new material?

Not anymore. The world was obsessed with her and her music between 1999-2004. The world was obsessed with her as a celebrity until 2008. There is no obsession left anymore.

However, she is still a big force, because she has the ''it'' factor. She is one of the figures that define pop music. Her music is not out of this world, it's pretty basic actually, but once she made it to the top, she stayed as a force there.
