I don't think it was specifically because of the Rih racism, but just the racism in general was getting out of hand and it boiled over into other threads. It just so happened that Rih was the one getting slaughtered at the time.

It wasn't just that. The problem was more that we couldn't "keep an eye on it" anymore due to the sheer volume of posts. And with everyone trying their hardest to be as offensive as possible, we did not feel comfortable leaving it open.
How about we just stay clear of calling black people apes?
I know this is the Internet but its horrible how we have to defend our fav from racial slurs
