In other( NON-fighting game related) news, Destiny (from the creators of the iconic Halo series) is continuing to slay the gaming press as well as the general public. Look for it to pound CoD into irrelevancy sometime next year.

If you're referring to the first Uncharted ONLY then yes, I agree. But I have a feeling you are referring to the entire series, which is not acceptable. Uncharted 2 gracefully drags the other to the depths of hell. You have been enlightened.

I'm talking about the whole series. U2 is great and all but Resident Evil 4 was revolutionary and iconic. U2 wishes.

U2 does have a better plot but RE4 destroys it in the other categories. Kii @ you comparing graphics from 2005 to graphics from 2009. The reach! Resident Evil 4 is one of the best looking games of its generation, maybe even the best.
RE4's gameplay at the time was revolutionary. It was better for its time than U2 was for its time. I doubt Uncharted would've been the same without RE4. I mean RE4's pacing, gameplay, atmosphere and boss battles >>>>

They are both incredible.
I mean they both won Game of the Year, are both critically acclaimed, and both sold well. I prefer the more iconic Uncharted series, and you prefer RE. The only difference is, Uncharted is still relevant and Resident Evil is not. It has gone downhill and is trash now, where as Uncharted is likely the most highly anticipated game series of the next generation. Resident Evil was cute, but it is now a "has been" series. So Uncharted series > Resident Evil series.

Well RE has been there since the 90's and Uncharted since 2007. I mean you just can't compare. RE's impact >>>>
Both are masterpiece in the end.

I was playing resident evil 6 with a friend last night. It was fun. I think it's quite underrated. It may not be as thrilling as 4, but it's still a good game with it's occasional jump scares. Mercenaries mode is so fun tooo. Uncharted is a tomb raider knock off with a cover system. That's it. Uncharted has inferior ps2 graphics too.

A "tomb raider knock off" that is the best selling series on the PS3, has garnered more critical acclaim than most game series do with double the amount of games, has won game of the year (Uncharted 2), and is the most highly anticipated series of the next generation.

Consistent slayage > Some good games swarmed around a lot of mediocre and terrible ones
Ain't nobody touching the consistency of the Uncharted series. Ain't nobody got time for Resident Evil 7 or whatever the hell they wasting their time on now. Uncharted 4 is the most highly anticipated release on PS4 and you will continue seething at its untouchable power.
