She really didnt even try with Lotus... I think her label made her rush released Lotus to follow up Bionic... But I don't think Lotus was HER vision and what she wanted as the next album.. Its very save and thats not Christina at all
I sort of agree. I definitely think it was rushed out, but I do think she had a part in that. She said multiple times that being on the Voice inspired her to make another full-on pop album that highlighted her vocals. That inspiration probably kickstarted the album-making process, and her label likely tried to speed up the process so that she could use the Voice as a platform to promote. Which she did, but in all the wrong ways.
The weightlifting class I take at my gym has been stanning hard for Xtina lately. Their newest release has Let There Be Love as the warm-up track, while their last release had Your Body as the chest track. Getting that health club promo!
