Nina sis I don't think we ever really talked so this is probably gonna sound really weird but I always really enjoy your comments. Just wanted to put that out there
I can't at you giving me SO MUCH to read after just one day of not looking.
SO many new stans! HELLO EVERYBODY!
I'm Nina, 25, from Germany. I'm a lesbian and I'm friends with a somewhat celebrity in Germany/Austria/Switzerland. Her name is Sharron Levy and the general public knows her from the first season of "The Voice Of Germany" in 2011. I have known her since 2008 though. She has done some amazing P!nk covers (youtube her!) and is a great singer/songwriter/rocker and her album "Rough_Ready" is coming out September 13th. I am also her official support and some kind of "personal assistant" if you will. She trusts me and I think it's so cool to be friends with a musician. Being a full time self employed musician is such hard work... I "discovered" her in 2008 when I saw a youtube video of her doing an amazing Piano ballad cover of P!nk's "So What".
ANYWAYs. I've been stanning for queen P!nk since I bought "M!issundaztood" in 2002 when I was 14. P!nk was actually the reason I got through my teenage years in one piece I think and she made me strong enough and brave enough and proud enough to come out as gay in 2004. I have been to 11 concerts of hers and I love her with all my heart. At my 10th concert, which was during the TTAL tour on March 7th in Frankfurt, Germany, she TOOK MY HAND for a second and I DIED.
Here's my reaction to that:
The other person I am stanning for hardcore is legend, goddess, queen diva CHER. So y'all can imagine what it feels like for me knowing that my GODDESS (Cher) is stanning for my QUEEN (P!nk) on Twitter and in general. And that P!nk wrote two songs for the goddess's album
Where are y'all newbies from, how old are you, when did you start stanning for Queen P!nk etc.? I want to get to know you guys, tell me something about you!
So it seems like PinksHooker and me represent P!nk stan stereotypes. He is Australian and I'm lesbian. HOWEVER we are still the only two people representing the stan stereotypes PinksHooker and me should have a baby, it would be THE ULTIMATE P!nk stan!
Plus, I just wanted to say I LOVE our base, I love reading all of you. We are really like a family here.
But... Where's her "impact"?
Nnnnnn
I have been a P!nk fan since 2000 with There You Go. My love continued to grow for her with Missundaztood. I listened to that album DAILY for like over a year. It wasn't until Try This that I truly became a huge fan of hers. Her songs have helped me through so many times. Especially Missundaztood. It helped me get through my early teenage years as well. The emotion and connection in those songs didn't just seem like they were written for her and she just sang them, they had a connection to her that made them feel real. (Which obviously they are, but you get my point). She just made it seem like she got what I was going through and the fact that the album had upbeat moments and moments of sheer confidence made me realize that I wouldn't be stuck in the low self esteem I was in. If she could get her self together and get her spirits up after dealing with FAR more than I did, then I need to get it together. That's what made me connect to her. Try This then came out and showed this bad ass, "I don't give a ****" side to Pink that we all knew existed. It was raw, it was real, and it might have been a little extreme for some, but I loved every minute of that album! I didn't truly start stanning for P!nk till 2006. I had done a search in late 2005 on her because I was like, "where is this bitch?" (I wasn't on forums until 2006). That's when I found "P!nk's Page". I joined there in January of 2006, and just being around so many people who adored as much (and possibly more) than me was a good feeling. I felt like I could connect with a bunch of people who truly understood her music like I did. It made me want to follow her music and career more. Also, I found out about a BUNCH of songs and demos I didn't even know existed! It was amazing. I had never even heard Free until 2006, and was blown away!
I quoted Nina and told my story because the sheer ignorance of people saying she hasn't had any impact is ridiculous. It's like saying my life and how she impacted me is irrelevant. To me, it's the most relevant thing. She has impacted so many people, but they're just quiet about it. They just love her and the music. More and more musicians are speaking about their love for Pink. Her impact has been felt longer and wasn't as instant as some other singers. (Which I think certain singers here had manufactured impact. [like they had new singers paid to say so]. Sometimes when singers say who influenced them it seems real, other times it seems scripted..).
So I say **** the haters and naysayers. Pink has been an "underdog" most of her career and always proves them wrong. She will be a legend and she will be remembered as one of the most influential and important musicians to come from the 2000s. It will happen.

YASS NINA! That post slayed and our babies would be the perfect pure bread P!nk stan.
We are really all like a family. We take each others jokes, we weakly drag our fave for her love of cooking , and look out for each other. We are all really just at home with each other and I love it.
is it me or gaga ripped off who knew iconic hair style
i'm a little monster but i screamed when i first watched the video this year (flop pink stan here )
Gaga has never claimed to be innovative. She's claimed to love art and creating art. Her art is pop culture. She always references pop culture in her every career move. She takes things from every aspect that she loves and puts into a compilation of work. It can be called lazy and lack of creativity, but it can also be seen by some as brilliant. Everyone has a different look on art and that's the beauty of it. I feel like so many people just don't get what she is all about. She never made claims of being original. She's only claimed to want to alter people's perspective on pop music and pop culture in general. Whether she's doing that effectively or not is debatable. I say, continue using Pink as inspiration. Because her art and impact will then live on too.
Nina! I just got teary-eyed with that 6 second clip!
You're so lucky and it's wonderful how P!nk has meant so much to you for so long.

Thanks guys, that means a lot!

So guys, what are your favourite P!nk live performances on Youtube?
I STAN for this iconic live performance of "Sober"... I mean... those VOCALS >>>>>
I actually PREFER her just "standing there" singing, or like really rocking out without any choreography or acrobatics... her vocals just seem more emotional this way. Don't get me wrong though, she still sounds AWESOME doing the acrobatics, but I think she has much more power in her voice when she's just rocking out to herself or just standing there. You know what I mean?
I also really love it when she changes the melody of a song up a little bit or adds some amazing adlibs.

all i thought why nobody drag gaga for this to be honest lol
pink thought gaga should win back in grammys 2010
so i'm happy that my faves loves each other ( or at least pink loves gaga )
“I think I’d have to go with Lady Gaga because she really, really just took over this year,” Pink says of Gaga’s chances of winning Album of the Year with “The Fame.” “She was everywhere. She’s fearless when it comes to fashion and videos and I think a lot of other people play it really safe. I think she’s been a total breath of fresh air. I love her videos. In some ways I think she’s the most interesting without seeming to try to hard since Madonna. […] I think she’s marching to the beat of her own drum. And I really, really like that,” she says.

Gaga has praised Pink before. I can't remember where, but it was brief. Lol. She mentioned her being amazing as a performer. Which, lets be real here, that's obvious.
Sober at the VMAs is a personal favourite of mine because I fell in love with P!nk at that moment. I had never cared for pop culture or music before that, but I somehow caught the VMAs that year and I was blown away. It impressed me so much more than the (amazing) performances by Gaga and Beyoncé and I can honestly say that it changed my life (God, this sounds dramatic ).

pink :"Lady Gaga is trying to make bullying illegal, she is an amazing girl and very talented."
i wish gaga would talk about pink i couldn't find it anywhere
I think it's so weird how people claim that P!nk ony says negative things about other female popstars when she has praised pretty much everyone, INCLUDING xtina.

It's okay gurl, expressing your love for P!nk can't even be dramatic ENOUGH!

I always feel weird saying thing like this because most people just don't get it but I genuinly believe that p!nk saved my life. The great thing about the P!nk base here is that people DO get it
I am sowwy i can't stand Gaga but i know that when she was asked about P!nk's 2010 Grammy performance if she got wet ? Gaga said yes and than when they asked if she was in the audience she said no

The queen of life itself P!nk has praised her for her videos and how much P!nk loves them
+ I found a website a few years back, before the Born This Way Ball started, that Gaga herself was impressed by the amount of shows P!nk had in Australia and wanted to do something like it herself.
