Yeah, Rihanna's pretty cool. I don't know if I "stan" for her, but I definitely like her a lot. I think they probably share a lot of fans between them because they're both very diverse in exploring genres like whereas most of their peers kind of stick to one thing.
She's more of the modern equivalent of Christina than Gaga in that sense.
