It was 10x worse during Bionic so any dragging that gets done now is tame by comparison. It honestly doesn't bother me that much anymore.

I can't even imagine what that was like. I was kind of super busy/in a bubble during that time, and didn't pay that much attention to music and that kind of stuff during that time. So for it to be 10x worse than Lotus :

It was terrible. No matter what she did, people just continued to hate on her. She could not catch a break. I even remember ads for electronic devices dissing Bionic.

I even made a journal post about how the NMT video was inspired by Madonna, not Gaga because that's what people were saying which included multiple picture comparisons that I edited together

I gained so much respect for her during all of that. No matter what happened to her, she kept on going. She is such a strong women and never gives up. She was so confident with her body even after her weight gain and even though everyone wanted her to cover up, she was not ashamed and continued to wear what she wanted. That is what I consider a role model. Someone who has self confidence and pulls through no matter what people throw at them. She's amazing!
