“This is a diss track about the band The Black Keys.. no, I'm just kidding. We love The Black Keys and it has nothing to do with them. I used to know this girl, and even though we were dating, it never really felt like we were together, because we both each had a lot of space for ourselves and we didn't even see each other that often. We never really got to bond, it was like our relationship only existed during the few hours we would spend together every week. It was kind of unnerving, because in a ways, I was glad to have what we had at that time, but then I also felt like I wanted more than that and really wanted her to be a part of my life. She never made a move into that direction though, so we just continued seeing each other a few times a week for a while and I tried to be content with that, and the songs deals with that. “Most of the songs on the album deal with relationship problems, but this one is about life in general. I came up with the idea after coming back from tour and feeling alienated from my home and 'normal' day to day life. I didn't know how to function anymore, how to go about life when I'm not on the road, which is why I ended up locking myself up in my apartment for a couple of days. I was literally stranded there. This song doesn't have a real chorus, it's more like a story that goes on throughout the whole song, and I like that about it. It's different. It can also apply to a lot of different situations, I mean, I wrote it about that specific feeling I had back then but I think it could mean many more things to many different people. It's just about being unable to adjust to change and that's something we struggle with a lot as humans.” - Sara

Rihanna discounts 1st single "Jump" to 99 cents/ Slashes Remix album to 7.99.



Rihanna has just released her new single Diamonds, so it seems she's throwing her song "Jump" to the bulls. Jump, which was releases 2 weeks ago, and it's remix album which came out a few days ago have both seen dramatic slashes in prices on amazon and Itunes. Her Remix album was slashed from 9.99 to 7.99 ,while the song was slashed from 1.29 to 99 cents. This will probably help the song to chart one more week.

Rihanna's "Diamonds" was released literally minutes ago but her amazing label #DiamondsRecordingStudios is already giving it tons of promo to ensure a strong debut. Rihanna's new single Diamonds will feature a banner on the front of iTunes all week so as soon as Itunes user log in they see that Rihanna has just released a single. This type of deal could really have "Diamonds" see huge success so Rihanna rivals better watch out.
