Is it bad that I only see the monsters buying this song and no one else? Like I'm doubting its ability to go platinum. VMAs is her best chance to turn this around.
If you think Gaga is not doing well in the US, look at the UK, Australia, Ireland, Canada, New Zealand. She is struggling more there. She is struggling in all English speaking countries.
We'll see how Applause does in comparison to Blurred Lines during the rest of the week. Blurred Lines is expected to sell between 280K-300K so we could base predictions for Applause off of that. Same goes for Roar actually. If she keeps a lead of greater than 50% for the rest of the week then it's safe to conclude she is selling more than 550K.
