SHAKIRA PERFORMS ON JIMMY FALLON
Jimmy: So Shakira you're going to perform your new single for us but first let's ask you some stuff about your record and your latest.. tweets.
Shakira: Yes! And well... yeah.
Jimmy: So you've been in the studio recently with Rihanna. And you both posted some very open tweets about you smoking. You were called a bad mother by TMZ and you sort of ended their lives with tweets. Also tell us some more about the collab.
Shakira: We were in the studio together. And she really taught me some things. She's an amazing woman and we're becoming great friends. I'm actually trying to find her a boyfriend. I texted Pique to talk to some of his friends. Fingers crossed. But no, she taught me that I have to try new things and you know enjoy some me time. That was our me time. And as for TMZ, let them keep giving me promotion.
Jimmy: What's the title of you guys' collab?
Shakira: It's called 'Open Invitations'. It's a very latin, urban sounding song. It's a combination of I think both of your styles into one song. It's probably my favorite song on the album.
Jimmy: Is there a chance of it being a single?
Shakira: I actually think it is the next single. My team is getting ahold to her team and label. So there's hope of that. It'd be great to perform it with her, gosh.

Shakira changed outfits to perform her latest hit single, Truths. She was seated while wearing a gold top and dark red dress while being accompanied by some band members with drums and some strings. The singer performed a tribal/latin influenced sounding version of the ballad, giving it a fresh sound. The singer switched up the ad-libs, her voice scaling with the instruments as the song reached it's climax. She received a loud applause and thanked the audience. 
I'm doing Letterman and some radio session today, if I'm not too tired hopefully haha.
