No, no...it's sad because we CAN tell this is going to be the typical Katy Perry pop song. Generic, half-aborted **** that utilizes the same formulaic approach to exploit a #1.
It's not like this is a bad thing anymore, though. It's not like Katy had any artistic integrity or merit to relinquish any further.

How exactly does one "exploit" a number one? By making music the general public likes? Are her team going to hold people's families hostage until the download Roar? Otherwise, people themselves make the decision to download and play the song, hardly what i'd call "exploiting". I'd take a GOOD generic pop song over something like Aura any day.

Judas flopped, TEOG stayed near the border of the Top 10 it's few weeks in there, You and I under performed, and Marry the Night was an iconic flop. Now wouldn't be the time to become very experimental, considering the GP ditched her ass

I like both Gaga and Katy, and although I don't like what I've heard of Roar so far, calling her trash is far fetched. Especially considering you're staying perched in her threads, why would you put that much time into trash?
