Her controversial HIV AD also aired during the commercial break halfway through.

J: Speaking of a lot going on, I heard that a new song of yours came out on the Internet.
M: Yeah, yeah. A song I did for my album got leaked online hours ago and it's kinda weird when something leaks online.
J: How so?
M: Well... When you get the feedback and when people are literally on Twitter for hours rejoicing it's absolutely amazing to see. But when you realized that you can't really surprise your fans with the rest of the album then it's a little hard to go through. But overall I think I'm pretty happy with the situation!
J: Well the new song is called "Hurts Like Gold" and I think it's absolutely fantastic!
M: Thanks so much!
J: So what is it about?
M: It's mainly revolving around money, which is the obvious, general topic. But to me there's different messages within the song that are personal to me, and very bright too. I kind of, don't really like to share all of the details on this song because I feel very connected with this song so...
J: That's OK sweetheart I get it! So, the new album is coming out soon!
M: Yes, it is coming out very, very soon!
J: And when is the new music video coming out? We've been waiting and waiting!
M: You guys will find out music video news tomorrow! And I have a new commercial airing tomorrow night and beyond so that's exciting as well!
J: Really what kind of commercial?
M: Headphones. You guys'll see tomorrow too!
J: Let's talk about the charts now.
M: Alright!
J: So the new CAL10 chart is coming out tomorrow, right?!
M: Yup, that's the new day!
J: And last week you debuted in at #10. What's the reaction about that?
M: I wasn't 100% thrilled but I knew that I was up against some serious competition. And nobody was messing around last week, it was a downright free-for-all bloodbath. And I failed to promote enough to chart higher.
J: What's the essential goal of this single?
M: The essential goal is to have a Top Five hit.
J: Do you think that'll happen tomorrow?
M: Hmmm... Probably not. I feel like my label has helped me step up my game this week and I know an increase is coming for sure but I think Top Five is a bit too much for this week.
J: Could you make it there at all?
M: Yes! I know I can next week. I have loads of promo coming up and I feel like I'm really gonna kick it into overdrive next week, so Top Five is definitely a possibility next week!
J: And what about your fellow label-mate Krewella? What are your thoughts on them?
M: If I need to listen to club music or dance-electronic stuff they're my go-to artist. Easily.
J: What do you think of their new single?
M: I love their new single, I think it's super brilliant! And some of the songs on their album are just unreal... That's how good the new stuff is.
J: Wait you have some of their new album's songs?
M: Well the only ones I have in full are two of the songs that they snippeted on YouTube this week. When the Krew hears them in full I think they're gonna go freaking crazy over that joint.
J: Well I think this makes Krewella fans even more excited now!
M: They should be for sure!
J: Let's move back to your material now!
M: Alright.
J: You debuted the new single which I believe is titled "Bitch Like That" at the Disco Revolution Concert last week...
M: Yeah that was a blast!
J: And apparently it's a collaboration. So who?
M: I'm not spilling it just yet. I'm telling you EVERYTHING is happening at the Revolution Records Press Conference in New York City today!
J: Ugh Miley you're KILLING us right now!
M: Well I could do one thing for yo guys!
J: What's that?
M: Perform my new single, if you want?!
J: Well, that's why you're here so take it away!
*Miley went on-stage. She has the band behind her with some boxes on the sides of the stage. The band began to play "Free Falling" and she took the microphone stand by the stand and leaned it towards the right. She began to sing the song, her voice sounding sassy and clear. Her vocals were on-point, had some attitude and looked like a rockstar tonight. She had a leather jacket on with a white shirt underneath, and she wore black leather pants. Her lips were bright red and her eyeliner was a dark blue, making her look like a dynamic rocker. She served Avril Lavigne teas jumping around the stage, but had that swagger like Cher Llyod putting her legs on the boxes to lean on. Her band continued to play and Miley blared out the chorus with happiness. She winked to the camera and rocked out on the stage to the sound. The audience was enjoying the performance and Miley was feeling energetic as always. She took off her leather jacket and threw it into the crowd*
*She always got into her character of "Free Falling" very easily. It was mostly because she just had to be herself. She hit the beautiful high, angelic notes in the pre-chorus and began to do the chorus for a second time. Jay seemed to be very into the performance also rocking out to it like Miley. Miley finished the chorus and starting kicking boxes all over the place during the bridge while shouting some of the lyrics. The band played a harder, more complex version of the bridge than normal.

*She twerked on the stage instead of singing. The crowd was laughing and clapping, very entertained by her little show. She turned around, kicked the microphone stand and struck a pose. Another fabulous performance by Miley*

But eventually got Chelsea to get up and start dancing with her. Then towards the end she ran into the audience and started singing with them two. At the end of the performance she thanked everyone, hugged Chelsea and abruptly left. The performance was praised by Australian Media, who said it was sexy but showed off her unique voice.
