Good point and extremely smart if she did. The promo has been excellent for the album and single so far

I don't think she's intimidated, but more of a matter of keeping things low and a surprise. There will be more of an impact with a slow build. And I agree, MTV wouldn't bypass the chance to have one of the biggest stars perform a big debut single. Katy and Gaga will have their ratings through the roof
I was just thinking to myself how big Katy has become and her impact. She's at the stage now where you can just say her first name and people will know who you're talking about. And we're just starting with album 3
