Peacock would've smashed, but it also would've undone all the good work the Teenage Dream singles done to improve her image and make her a viable force in pop. The only reason The One That Got Away and Wide Awake were hits were because the public started to take her seriously, Peacock would've been a full reversal back to 'Thinking of You'.
