Shakira announces new single
Global superstar Shakira took to twitter this evening to confirm her highly anticipated comeback by announcing the cover and title of her lead single off her upcoming album. The Colombia native let the world know that she was returning to music with a few tweets last week that caused major buzz all over the web and media.

The star also performed this weekend at Selena Gomez's Birthday Bash, which aired on MTV to over 10.6 million viewers. There she performed hits such as Hips Don't Lie, La Tortura, and Whenever, Wherever. Bomb boarded with questions on whether or not she was returning, the superstar brushed off the accusations, saying she was simply just being a friend and felt that performing at the pop princess' party was the least she could do.
Her new upcoming single, Truths, penned by the singer and singer-songwriter Sia, will be out in August on iTunes and will get it's first spin on radio that morning with Elvis Duran, where Shakira will be interviewed about the single, her upcoming album, as well as her personal life.
