I'm always so surprised at how LoveGame did so poorly WW compared to the other Fame era singles. It has one of Gaga's most iconic lyrics and it was much more popular than some of the BTW era singles.
If wonder if Gaga will ever have a single that won't sell at least 1 million worldwide.
But seriously, I use a statistical model that estimates sales based on growth rate in the US. In cases like JD it may provide a slight overestimation, but due to BTW being significantly more global than local it actually is an underestimation, if anything.

Pff Universal Italy is hardly reliable, they probably just threw a random number out of their ass. They say JD and PF are at 5 million in the US at the end of that press release.

This is actually possible. Last time I checked, the gap between the highest digital sellers of all time is not that big, maybe 5-10m records. Rihanna is flopping left and right and Gaga's leads are always massive.
