Anyone saying Gaga's picture is **** or tacky needs to stop feeding into the idea that a woman can't expose her body without being a ***** or some dumb **** like that. The picture is not sexual at all, and (as I think has been pointed out in previous pages) recalls the classical Venus. It's a nice image.

I'm not really hyped anymore, tbh. She has a fine juggling act with the ART and POP
and if she doesn't find the right balance, she'll flop harder than any of us could ever imagine.
I want the video on the 26th to help the song hit #1 after the VMA performance (and also because the sooner the better ), but I wouldn't mind it being released sometime between the last few days of August and the first days of September.
Part of me thinks she has enough fanbase and casual listeners to hold off the iTunes release date until after the VMA's when she has a good week of MASSIVE airplay under her belt to easily go #1 off of airplay, and the performance. I'm sure it'll still go to iTunes on the 19th, but just a thought..
