It really wasn't that bad having those 5 singles in 10 months if you think about it..

The only thing that made it seem so rushed was that Judas only lasted a month.

Everything else had the normal 2-3 months between singles that usually happens.

I personally think that an artist like Gaga is capable of drawing out hits longer than 3 months, and I was hoping for her to do so with BTW. I hope she can try once again to do so in the ARTPOP era, keeping note that just because a song's not 4x Platinum in the US with 18 weeks on the chart and falls off doesn't mean it's time to release a new single yet. She does much better globally than she does in the US - we all know this, and her label needs to make sure that they keep pushing singles even if they seem to be flopping in the US. Take "Judas" for example - it was actually a pretty decent success in some areas, and likely would have also come back in the US had they waited and pushed it more rather than releasing TEOG just because it had positive reactions.

There are only 4 main android versions, don't try it. Donut/Eclair/Honeycomb don't exist anymore.

I don't really mind the recreations of Gaga's V pic (well unless those monsters are underage, I guess), but sometimes I truly do worry about how many fans copy everything she does. I'm just afraid that if she ever dies, some fans legitimately wouldn't be able to handle it

Anyone saying Gaga's picture is **** or tacky needs to stop feeding into the idea that a woman can't expose her body without being a ***** or some dumb **** like that. The picture is not sexual at all, and (as I think has been pointed out in previous pages) recalls the classical Venus. It's a nice image.

I see where people are coming from with 9/1 or 9/2, though - the first and second weeks of the singles' sales will be boosted by initial hype and the VMA's, respectively, so the music video could very effectively carry it into a third big sales week.

The single. I shall not call periods of only some months an era. That is just too short for an era.
But yeah, kinda flopped tho it had EMAs performance (which was great imo)

Surely it'd make most sense to stagger the schedule to aid longevity for the single?

i.e.

Week of the 19th - hype from debut
Week of the 26th - hype from VMAs
Week of the 1st - hype from the video (co-promote with pre-order)

Having the single debut, VMA performance and video all in the same week is putting all their eggs in one basket.
