It's not that I'm overhyping myself. It's that I have complete faith that I'm going to like whatever she plans on releasing.

Other than Kylie Minogue, no artist has been able to captivate me as Gaga has. So, in all likelyhood, I'm going to enjoy the new single as well as the album. Even though Born This Way wasn't exactly what I was wanting, I've learned to not only appreciate it but enjoy it as well, even the tracks I didn't like at all on first listen.

may be im wrong but, Gaga just her name has the power to sell albums if that's what we want, by just announcing the release of a single she took the world by a storm, people are waiting to see the covers, outfits, controversial stuff, if the GP didn't like her her fans are enough !

The problem with BTW is that it was way to preachy for the GP. It wasn't relatable enough unlike her previous works. But i have faith ( as long as it is really TFM's little sister )

EXACTLY, may be if it was all generic stuff they would've liked it!
I mean Heavy Metal Lover, Bloody Mary, electric Chapel aren't those typical songs on the radio, they were TOO good for GP, that's my opinion!

It's not like Born This Way was Erotica or anything. It didn't turn people off in a bad way. People (generally) were just indifferent to the music.

It doesn't necessarily be generic just relatable. Look at Clarity. It is by no means generic but the GP still loves it.

Sure. Lyrically, BTW was centered towards the core fanbase as well as Gaga. Kind of like her freedom album. As long as ARTPOP has lyrics that the average person can listen to and connect with it in someway, it's a home-run.

I just still think that the change between TFM and BTW missed a chapter to make it all more natural for the general public.

It has nothing to do with the sound itself, ofcourse it was less commercial, but it could have worked all together. It's not like BTW was an alternative album. I just think the GP needed to get used to it in some way.

But oh well, what's done is done and I think the GP knows that Gaga will find her own way to spread her music and message and that TF/TFM is not all she is capable of!
