Cultural appropriation is cultural appropriation. It's taking something that doesn't belong to you and acting as if it's alright for use, such as, as mentioned, Iggy Azalea using the Indian theme in her "Bounce" video or Selena Gomez using the Bindi in this entire era of hers.
Even if done "respectfully", it's still almost mocking it. It's not her culture to use, and it's not her place to claim it's okay for her to use it.
I'm not going to bitch about "Tea" because we don't know much about it. "Burqa", on the other hand, is more of an issue.
So much for living in a melting pot full of different cultures. Fashion has always taken from different cultures and made it into its own.
