But I mean, explain to me what's so bad about cultural appropriation. Surely what she's doing can't be that terrible unless she obviously criticizes, parodies, or uses a culture for attention and/or controversy? I just don't get what harm it really does to incorporate elements of a culture into her art, if she does it in a respectful manner.

32 DAYS!!! Gaga's chances of debuting #1 in the US are really not transparent right now. Blurred Lines is is still selling fast and has huge radio airplay, but I believe in the next 4 weeks the song will be decreasing.

Judging by the fact Inez + V. posted yesterday they were leaving their hotel in LA, filming seems to be done. I hope that gives them enough time to edit it well and release it close to the single to get it to #1 with streaming.

Cultural appropriation is cultural appropriation. It's taking something that doesn't belong to you and acting as if it's alright for use, such as, as mentioned, Iggy Azalea using the Indian theme in her "Bounce" video or Selena Gomez using the Bindi in this entire era of hers.
Even if done "respectfully", it's still almost mocking it. It's not her culture to use, and it's not her place to claim it's okay for her to use it.
I'm not going to bitch about "Tea" because we don't know much about it. "Burqa", on the other hand, is more of an issue.
