MTN was a better and more single-worthy song initially. The only reason BTW even did well was the hype and the fact that it was the title song and overarching theme of the album. Had it been released from an album with a different title and message it would not have done well.
I hope she doesn't make the same mistake this era; if she releases important tracks later on they will still smash, but if she waits to release the most single worthy tracks after an era of all-over-the-place and too-close-together singles, they won't do well.
