I think Bad Kids had more potential than people thought. That's not to say it should have replaced. Judas or The Edge of Glory as 2nd/3rd singles or anything. But It was definitely more likely to be used than many other songs.
Highway Unicorn was not a travesty. It wasn't meant to be a single though.
Besides, we know that the producer isn't going to be in complete control anyway. Gaga's always gonna be involved to an extent.
