She doesn't hate her at all (she's been covering "Man Down" for awhile now). She just said she recorded it first and joked that it was better (though people took that part seriously).

No. I think she is a fan of Rihanna, she was asked last year if she had to put together a female group of singers including herself, who would it be and she said Rihanna would be in it.
Plus as already pointed out, she performs Man Down during her Better In Time performances.
