Larry and co. is actually doing a good job. They successfully used the rules to get WCS high at the charts. The video caused the song to smash the charts and itunes. The smashing and the radio tour is causing radio to play it now cause it's a top 5 on BB. They didn't have to use payola, (they're probably saving the coins for another time). And now they see that WCS is lagging in European countries, Miley is now promoting in London.
The promo was actually genius because the tv ads for gma/kimmel lasted for over a week and it is a better promo than any one night talk show. I believe the commercials caused WCS to go #2 on itunes.
Roc Nation would fit for Miley this era, since she's going hip-hop but it won't fit her on the long run. Besides, in RCA she would be sitting queen when Britney passes the reigns to her (or even before) she can't take on Rihanna on Roc Nation. And Britney and Miley are more similar artists in performance, star power, vocal ability (?), etc. than Rihanna-Miley,
