Katy definitely had the right idea when she talked about being mindful of her fanbase getting older during the early TD radio interviews.

If TD was made with 16 and 17 year olds in mind, album three should be targeted at college kids.

Yes

- Katy played it first at Perez Hilton's birthday party (March 23)
- then Lindsay Lohan who was at the party tweeted about it
- other people at the party said that the song featured a rapper

New article and interview about Killer Queen! It spills a lot of details on the new perfume, including the release date and the promotional campaign.

But not much about the new album...

But it’s her latest that represents Perry today. “Killer Queen is powerful, edgy, sophisticated — and that’s exactly where I’m trying to be now with my music,” said Perry. “There were two different aspects in creating the fragrance. It’s almost like [using] two different parts of your brain — the packaging and bottle and marketing, but essentially all that doesn’t matter unless you have the juice.”

While Perry played coy about her upcoming album (“I’m still working on it! You’re Women’s Wear Daily, not Rolling Stone!” she said in a mock-severe voice), reports are that it will be more “mature” than Perry’s earlier pop confections, and could include songs inspired by Perry’s ex-husband, Russell Brand, and cowritten with songwriter and pal Bonnie McKee.

“Everything is a conversation, that’s all I can say,” said Perry. “I’m not saying I’ll be good at all of it, but I’m going to swing.”

I've been a casual fan since OOTB, but she was never my main fave, you know? I remember buying the H&C and WUIV videos on itunes when I first got an iPod sophomore year of high school (now I'm a sophomore in college ). I bought TD opening week and I got the pack with the shirt, but it's too big I even bought a poster during TD era that I still have up in my room of the TD promo pics.

I haven't been stanning for too long, only like a year or so, but she's the only pop star I truly relate to atm besides Rihanna.
