A sold-out tour, a music video, and televised performance, and being the most added country song for two weeks in a row and it's still only at 9.463 AI.

Hardly a music video, performance was on CMT and like a month ago. Not sure what you want

But tours don't do much promotion tbh, they only bring money. It's not like the concerts are televised so that people who don't own the album would watch them on TV and say "Her show was really great so I'm gonna buy da alberm". The tour audience are people who are already fans and own the album and have heard the song before, so there's not much promotion there.

You tour to promote the alberm, hun. When you go to a city, they're supposed to play your songs more since you're there for that day. When she came to cleveland, I heard WANEGBT twice, IKYWT thrice, 22 once, and BA once..

Besides, were aren't Rihanna stans. We don't completely base our stanning on her success. Even if Red got pop adds, a real video and 20 televised performances while hardly cracking top 1000, why should we care? I care about the music being good. I'd rather SBT being a single and flopping into oblivion than her releasing a bunch of IKYWTs and smashing. I just want good honest music that she writes, that's why I stan for Taylor, not because she slays (even though she does) we should be thankful for any success she has, even if it's not up to your strange standards.

just because we called an obvious flop a flop dont mean we're aiming for hit singles. i was with her when she was struggling with Bottom Fly, writing The Story of Floppage and fighting for staying in alberms top50. i do love ha yet i wish she never flopped.

If Taylor didn't have the success today that she does have, I wouldn't even pay attention to her/know er name tbh.

Still fail to see how Red is even underperforming, it's basically doing fine, she hasn't promoted, country's a slow chart, her sixth single, country's been ignored this era, BA peaked 6 months ago etc. not sure how it's "obviously" flopping, and again, not sure why we should make such a big deal over her radio performance

Like after 22 flopped (despite its amazing longevity) I really started to hate Taylor.

22 might end up outselling mega-radio hits like Where Have You Been

Ok, I run out of ways to try and make it obvious that I've been joking this whole time.

22 is a good example. We can all joke and call it floppy-2 but it does sell decent and the album is still selling well, which should be a bigger priority.
Pop radio is so fickle, and Taylor is still like a visitor to pop radio (or so she claims)

Red is doing fine, it will start to rise.
I'm more interested in how many more songs BMR will release as singles. I do hope they release the song with the most potential to win SOTY/ROTY, State of Grace.
