again, what do you expect? selling 2k after 3 years isnt good? she doesnt even have an active album promotion to boost her sales. and she wasnt even promoting TD in 2012 or 2013 LOL she promoted CC. the fame monster is not forgotten but it's charting in less countries than TD. yes of course, there are some albums that dont have 5 #1's and is charting better than TD... but thats rare, and do they have 5 #1's? those stats alone are impressive. stop undermining her achievements.

It's called a re-release for a reason, so you're saying that the CC has nothing to do with TD, it still counts as promotion for TD, everything she did was to promote TD. And the Fame (Monster) has already sold more than 10M albums WW, I can't say the same for TD/CC. TD as a whole album isn't memorable, and its sales WW is the perfect example and please don't say sales don't matter, she has released 8 singles throughout 2 years in support for her album, people preferred to buy the singles but not very much the album as a whole.

i didnt say it completely had nothing to do with TD all im saying was she was more focused on CC for 2012 and arent the singles part of the album? she released 8 singles from the album and each single sold at least 4M WW. the singles' success are part of the albums success if you havent noticed just because it isnt the perfect example for album sales wise it doesnt mean that it will not go down on history

Music classic albums either have an insane amount of acclaim(Ok Computer) or were insanely succesful.
Except for the singles TD is neither.
6 million is highly impressive but Loud amd BTW sold the same.
They aren't classics either.
It will be remembered as a classic among pop fans but NEVER a music clasdic

CG/WA are classics in Europe
TD album is already a classic in the US (sold 2.8M to date and its singles spent 69 CONSECUTIVE weeks in the top10)

Teenage Dream was extremely successful though

Normal people dont know and don't care how much an album has technically sold, just as they don't know how much a movie has made at the box office or which show gets the highest ratings

They do remember impact though through singles and Teenage Dream had tons of that especially for that two period where you could not listen to a Pop, Rhythmic, or HAC station without hearing Katy Perry on the radio.

So it's not even close to Born This Way or Loud

Most certainly not. Its sales are abysmal with all things considered, and a Dr. Luke produced album that followed trends and brought absolutely nothing new to the table cannot be considered a classic imo.
