Perhaps. I feel biased saying yes as it's my favorite album by any pop girl if you take an average of the tracks, but I think that it has a lot going for it, especially it's success that will be noted in future years.
+ I see lots of people still playing it, reblogging it on tumblr. In fact, I recently had to drive 3 hours and heard CG, Wide Awake, Firework, E.T. all in that 3 hour period on pop radio.
Not when half of its singles are as forgettable as it gets.
The disadvantages of being so generic
That has nothing to do with it.
Teenage Dream and E.T. are always playing in stores.
Around this time of year Firework is in heavy rotation alot.
Katy is always on the radio.
Being generic does not deny something of being a classic. In fact that could be an advantage because when you hear it, you instantly recognize the material. A classic is a classic, regardless of the production. Only time will tell for sure though,

If TD is forgotten, then why are 2-3K people buying it weekly? Why is it one of the most-streamed albums on Spotify as of late? Why are her songs still being constantly being played on the radio (not just Firework)?
Some people should learn the definition of "forgotten" before trying to drag.
