even then though, her last pop song was VVV late last year, since then its all been rap songs. plus all these features are all rap ones.

Yeah but I've encountered so many times the same stuff with people saying "Nicki needs to stop making generic Pop ****".

Features aren't technically her songs, and imagine yourself as someone who isn't a stan and you just see when she releases music. You assume her last album was PFRR and that's what she's going to make from now on.

She can give verses 100000000x better than in 2010 and it's not going to have the same impact. She was a BRAND NEW artist in 2010 to the public, so obviously it would have more of an impact because that was the first taste of Tanya for most people.

You cannot compare then to now

Speaking of, I remember the whole stadium rapping to ILDS when she was at SJ a few weeks ago. It's so underrated, and it wasn't even a single.

Somebody Else is almost Top 20 with no promo, video, and people still don't know Mario has returned. And how will it appeal to the GP when people don't know they exist.

yes, some of Nicki's hottest songs were never singles, and some of her singles were the whackest (MA,PTA,VVV)

anyway, Somebody Else is really amazing, it needs to smash, sounds great on radio, Nicki's verse is amazing, and its just a great quality song all together.

When I listen to Nicki's pop track, I don't think, "Nicki the rapper made this". I just compare and listen to them like she is a popstar if that makes sense.
