This obviously shouldn't count. Whether Samsung paid for it or not, having a company buy copies of your album does not reflect the public interest in an album that a chart is supposed to reflect. That's just ****ing cheating.

I love Jay, but that's just some shady ass tactics right there.

Gaga's counted before the change. I don't think Billboard ever thought someone would actually allow their album, especially a new release from a major popstar, to be discounted at .99.

Why are you trying to establish an inequality where there isn't one though??? Amazon priced BTW at 99 cents THE DAY that deal was announced. This is WEEKS in advance. Billboard had time to have a meeting and Jay's team has time to change their mind if they want to (I don't see why they would, though, money is money).
