Anyway about the stupid replies I received. I'm not shading Cher's career I'm just shocked about those old artist who decide to destroy their LEGACY (I did not use "career") just for couple of bucks or couple of hours of fame. Like Cher is doing at the moment or Madonna. Those pop legacies should either quit singing if you can't do it properly anymore. And obviously everyone excusing the terrible voice on this track SIMPLY because the woman is 60 something. B HS I don't care how old is she I care about the quality and obviously there was nothing good about it. And those who will tell me it's for the fans. She should do performances of her old songs, if she wants to release new material for her REAL and LOYAL fans she should release a track that speaks for herself and her music instead of selling your legacy on tracks that serves Lady Gaga's (or POP) audience.
Bottom line, I'm not shading Cher's legacy I just feel pity for legendary icons who would sell themselves over a track as terrible as this. A track that does not speak of them or their view of the music they built. Basically SOLD OUT!

She's not really selling herself out since she's been doing dance music for a decade and a half now. Her vocals on the track don't sound remarkably different from any of her vocals in many years - her voice is just characteristically deep, and it doesn't sound any worse to me than her last album. This really does connect with Cher's fans since a good number of them these days are dance music fans, and I don't think she went this route for attention or sales at all. She can still sing well, as showcased on "You Haven't Seen the Last of Me" in recent years.
I understand that the track might be disappointing to you, but it's not really that terrible and and it's pretty characteristic Cher style as far as the past 15 years go. Her legacy in the current pop sphere
is this dance-pop sound, primarily due to "Believe".
