One a month? Don't they usually release a bunch at a time?
This will be my first K-Pop era with a group that I stan for, so am still a bit confused on how they work.
Most K-pop groups will release one single and an album on the same day, but 2NE1 usually spreads out a bunch of singles over a period of a few months leading up to the album.
Also, does anyone else have a feeling that this will be a much slower song? Like a mid-tempo?
Kinda.
Usually American albums are promoted with one or two singles before it's release, and then one-three after the release. All single releases for this will happen before the album is released, but they will still be promoted afterwards.
Also, I think it'll be a slower song.
They'll probably release an electropop song as another single, and a ballad later on.
If this is released around July 4th, then that means 3/5 of my faves suddenly released something around the same time all of a sudden after many pushbacks.
If it was an album, we could at least expect to hear 6 new tracks?
With a mini, they'd probably bundle ILY+TBF with the singles.
Which is exactly what I'm afraid will happen. I'm not even afraid, I'm positive because YG is stupid as ****. At least an album will give us something to be excited about post 4th single.
they should also attend some variety shows for once to promote their songs.
