OMG i rather of had Tom Nook but i'll settle for any animal crosing character. Mega-man was the only third party i wanted. The wii u trained is so goddamn random but i love it. Im buying a wii u.
Looks basic as hell.. Nothing much to scream about.

I don't want Goku or any anime characters tbh. It seems out of place, though I guess in theory Snake kinda seemed weird at the time too so maybe it could work.
Sakurai said something a few months ago about how 35 characters is a lot, and having too many will make it impossible to balance them all perfectly. Although at e3 he did say there are plenty of newcomers. So I imagine he will axe out some to make room for others. Although I hope he does keeps them all! Except maybe Snake cause we can get better third party characters than that lol.
I wouldn't mind if some of the clones were axed. I think they need more villains too so King K. Rool seems very likely to me especially with Donkey Kong coming.
if the clones were cut that would be fine...we don't need 3 versions of fox/2 versions of ness/2 links...if they went the extra mile to really differentiate them, then fine keep em'. However as of now, I doubt the clones will change.
I personally am not here for any newcomers as of yet (sans megaman), but I won't rule this reveal as a disappointment.
Yeah, since Namco-Bandai is developing I'm expecting some of their characters, so Lloyd would be a very strong candidate. Maybe some kind of Pac Man integration? At the very least an assist trophy. Beautiful Katamari would also make a really fun assist trophy. I kinda want Klonoa as a nod to classic gamers.
As for Nintendo characters, I want King K. Rool, Dixie Kong, Paper Mario, Ridley, and Skull Kid or Midna. It will never happen but Geno would make me so happy

I don't see this posted here, but apparently these are the three new characters that will be introduced. Gematsu is a reputable gaming source, they received a tip prior to e3 that revealed 6 new characters. They at first dismissed it, but the tip ended up being true in regards to the characters announced so far. This leads them to believe the tip was correct! I've put the new characters in the spoiler tag. This is still a rumor, but Gematsu is a reputable source.
