That new Foxy Brown interview is everything, everything...
It really showed me how much of Foxy Brown is in Nicki. I don't mean just lyrically and with their rapping styles, but they have similar behaviors and personalities. They are both so strong but at the same time vulnerable. They can be open, but they are mostly private when it comes to personal matters... The list goes on and on.
Foxy is so genuine and it is sad to have people actively overlook her. Y'all don't realize how much love Foxy has shown to Nicki. Towards the end of the interview, Foxy said in so many words (with quite a bit of trailing off thanks to the interviewer):
"I was talking to Nicki the other day and I told her: I took the shots, I made mistakes, and I can't go back and change things."
That is wisdom, man... Wisdom.

And closer to end, Foxy said that she told Nicki that she did not need to "beef" with Mariah. Nicki countered with "That is like the pot calling the kettle black because, Fox, you would stand up for yourself and wouldn't take any **** from anyone." And in response Foxy said: "Yeah, but guess what... It hurt me. I took those shots. You don't have to do that. If you have a problem, we gone ride."
Foxy went on to say that Nicki doesn't have to have that attitude for her legacy and she is blessed, beautiful, intelligent, and doesn't need Idol.
Foxy is so genuine, humble, and mature. I honestly doubted that Nicki was hearing the right things from people around her and I am so happy that Foxy shared that with her. I pray Nicki becomes a woman just as mature and classy as Foxy Brown has become if not double that. Female rap and the entire music industry needs more Foxys.
