Discussion Question: We are heading into June, which means that we are halfway through the year, how would you rate 2013 (so far) for Hilary? Rate her on a scale from 1-10

I would give Hilary a 5. The reason I am giving her that score is because she basically promoted Johnson's Baby Care and Two and a Half Men more than any of her independent movies besides War Inc. But, I really wish she would have done more for the release of True. Raising Hope was cute but 2.5 Men brought in the ratings, acclaim from the critics, and good buzz from the general public on Twitter. I originally had her at a 4.5 but then I remembered that she is shooting a movie at the end of the summer, so that is a nice start.

I'm going to giver her a 4. Her appearance on Two and a Half Men was the best thing for me this year. The realease of True was a disappointment, she just didn't care about it since it was the last book and she could have done so much more with it. She's not showing that she is interested to get back to work again soon, even with those last things she said in interviews. So, it's 4 for me.

Definitely a 5.5 for me. This is the best year of hers since like 2009 or 2010. She did a lot of promo for JBC and is looking fabulous. The independent movie scheduled for shooting is also taken into account. If she really does return to the studio and we get some candids (and IG photos) and she starts creating some buzz, her rating will increase significantly.

2012 was a 4 for me and 2011 was a 2.

I'm giving her a very generous 6 for now. I can imagine how much Hil has fallen in love with Luca and doesn't want to leave him but she still has been able to do some iconic things for us such as guest appearances, release a book, and LOTS of promo for Johnson's Baby Cares.

I give her 10 for candids, 2.5 for her TV work, 1 for the book and 0 for music

Thinking of this discussion question and srsly, compares to some of my faves who haven't released ANY music, ANY promo (TV, Book, even cookies ) in 5+ yeArs mAkes me lAugh At how Any1 is upset with what we get... be greatful... could be MUCH worse... trust me

No. I stan for Hilary's music. Not her 20 second TV appearances, not some stupid books that she can't even be bothered to sound happy promoting, and not her relationships and baking specialties. Her music is what I'm here for and I have been waiting patiently since late 2008 for a new full length album. So forgive me if I'm ****in' pressedT with that statement.

This is so true, I'm here for music too, I started to stan her since Lizzie, I love to see her on TV but no on 20 seconds and I don't like to read books at all, and the way she promote them is boring.

It's sad, I mean, she released her debut album in 2003, and her last album were in 2007, only 4-5 years of music. And we are waiting since 2008, 5-6 YEARS WITHOUT MUSIC!!!!
