But yes I found that a BIT rude. I NEVER claimed to be some sort of expert. I stated that very first thing in my post. Anything I've said about singing I got from someone who I know knows what they're talking about - because no, I don't (not yet  ). Those people I quoted definitely studied vocal music and are professionals. Hell, Harmonic Dreamer, the ATRL member, studied music in college and HE TOLD ME he thought Mariah's vocal habits were better than Whitney's - and he loves Whitney to death, more than Mariah. 
Me always using quotes when I don't know what I'm talking about. I went out of my way to include a disclaimer in my post and prevent such a statement from being made. What I want to know is where YOU studied music and if YOU'VE ever taken vocal lessons. I'm pretty sure that 1. you study some kind of social **** - I don't even REMEMBER - in college, not music and 2. you got that attitude because I spoke about your fave. Please lose it. There is no need for rudeness. |

No one was being rude
I don't care if someone talks about an artist I like. I just don't like it when someone tries to act like their opinion is fact because they can find a few online sources to cosign them (as a lot of ATRL members do).
