Do you know what today marks? 23 years ago Madonna was in my home city of Toronto of the Blond Ambition Tour where she almost got herself arrest during the Like A Virgin performance.
Quote:
The show's explicit overtone caused problems. In Toronto, police were alerted that the show might possibly contain lewd and obscene content (particularly a masturbation scene) and threatened charges unless parts of the show were changed. The show went on unaltered, however, and no charges were made after the tour manager gave the police an ultimatum: "Cancel the show, and you'll have to tell 30,000 people why."
Hey You (see what I did there?), you dusty queens. I come in peace.
If you want Madonna to get a fair representation in the Red Hot Slayage rate, please make sure you VOTE for the 5 songs on Confessions on a Dance Floor that best represent the album as a whole! Thanks in advance!

God, I though we should pick up songs which represent the album the best I didn't realize they're gonna be included in a competition #Oops
That's fine! COADF has a lot of great songs anyway, so you can't really go wrong with your choices! Thanks!
I know, but tell that to some people... I don't think Future Lovers (#4 in the poll) has a big chance i. e. And I voted for non-singles I adore, many people are here only for the light-hearted 1st half
Madonna put her just-sold apartment on the market once before, for about $6.8 million in late 1996, according to Jonathan Miller, an appraiser and president of Miller Samuel Inc.
Quote:
The sale of the vast duplex apartment in Harperley Hall—a 1911 Arts and Crafts-style building on the corner of West 64th Street with large banks of windows facing Central Park—closed last week, after lingering on the market for six months, listing records show. It was listed in November for $23.5 million, with a rush of celebrity publicity. But the price was cut by 15% in February to $19.995 million, and brokers said Mr. Narula, who built a fortune as an investor in mortgage-backed securities, paid considerably less.

In 2009, Madonna paid $32.5 million for what were once three adjacent townhouses on East 81st Street near Third Avenue that had been listed for as much as $45 million. She then spent years renovating those spaces, which she still owns.
Yes 'Broken' is a damn bop that doesn't try to be serious so I love it Better than 4 Minutes anyways.
I have a love/hate relationship with 4 Minutes. I'm glad that its the one basic song that people would have on their iPod circa 2008-2010.
I just hate the horns in the background are like a ticking/countdown type sound. Also when the lyrics say 'We only got 4 minutes to save the world' you would think the ending would be more dramatic, but nope.
But the 'Rebirth Remix' on the special edition though.
Say that happiness cannot be measured, and a little pain can bring you all life's little pleasures. What a joke. I was not your woman, I was not your friend, but you gave me something to remember. No other man said, "Love yourself or nobody else can." We weren't meant to be, at least not in this lifetime, but you gave me something to remember. I hear you still say, "Love yourself".
