After Marina's amazing performance, Rihanna was the final performer of the night so she made sure that she would leave a final impact on the music fans at the MTV TRL event.
The stage turned all black, no lights, no sound. Fans waited for 3 minutes before the stage turned bright red and a sound of camera lights flashed before Rihanna was seen running on stage, being chased by a huge crowd of bloody paparazzi. Their clothes were soaked in blood, as were their cameras. Rihanna shrieked as she tripped and the paparazzi swarmed here, some dropping their cameras to physically attack her. Suddenly, strobe lights flashed on the stage and the paparazzi fled the scene, leaving Rihanna in the middle of the stage.
She was now wearing a huge red gown, her makeup flawless and hair perfectly laid. She held a mic in her hand and began to melt the first verse of her single "Black Butterflies" before getting up, ripping the long train of her dress off. A huge rock intro of the song blasted and she began performing the rest of the song with extreme energy in a red leotard. After Black Butterflies was finished, she and her dancers performed a high energy version of "Side Effects".
After Side Effects was finished, Rihanna selected a superfan from the audience and sat him in a metal chair. She strapped him down and one of her dancers gave her a whip. Rihanna took the white blazer off to reveal a studded black bra and she performed "Dive Head First", which had an added dustup breakdown. The choreo and performance were filthy, including Rihanna shaking her ass in the fans face and massaging his chest. After the song finished, Rihanna and the fan were descended into the stage.

The music video for the song Release! premiered on JigglypuffVEVO today.
The video starts with Jigglypuff being carried by a boy. (who looks a bit similar to Ash in
the Pokemon series)
The boy seems to be walking to a PC (which is where you release Pokemon in the games)
and he looks sad.
Jigglypuff is also sad, but you can tell she has accepted the fact.
Throughout the video, a montage of "memories" they share play, while going back to
the "release" scene.
During the breakdown, Pokemon battles and dangerous situations they were in play;
"good" memories play throughout the rest. The video ends with Jigglypuff being released,
and "We Run It" playing. There was a "To be continued" afterwards, so this is heavily
suggesting "We Run It" is the next single.

After a brief break after the performances, the most well-known host of TRL, Carson Daly, made a message on the jumbo-tron via satellite:
Quote:
Welcome to MTV's TRL Revival! We're going to have yet another break after this, but don't worry; we'll have plenty of videos showing, plenty of interviews with past guests, and much more!
Right now, we'll be playing Rihanna's "Black Butterflies" music video, followed by the official premiere of Marina and the Diamonds' video to "Needles and Pins (I'm Not Alright)" that was accidentally aired on E! News yesterday, followed by an interview with a surprise guest to be announced later!
Be kind to our celebrity hosts tonight, Selena Gomez, Rihanna, and Marina and the Diamonds!

After the message cut out, the video to Rihanna's "Black Butterflies" began to play on the jumbo-tron...
Keep your eye on MTV, or keep updated on our site with updates every few minutes.

But expect EXTREME Marina promo starting Wednesday; there's already been a lot since Saturday.

If you follow the three-articles-a-day rule and you're not doing a collab it would be very hard to get overexposure deductions tho.

They did say "EXTREME", they could have other forms of promotion planned.

I don't think so since we're all doing our own articles for our own artists.
