I think it's just a phase tbh. Out of thousands of lines She has written, only that line that would show up as a line from another song on google. I don't think Matt's accusation ever be a big factor.

In Ed's defense, he only talks about Taylor in interviews because he is asked. Sometimes he seems vaguely irritated about the amount of Taylor questions and I admire him for always patiently answering the question. He has been nothing but supportive of Taylor.
I mean, I don't want any more collaborations with Taylor but he seems like a decent guy.

He could have just refused to answer. My dislike for him gone all the way back since he released his music. Pretentious little ****. Being nice (to Taylor only, and doesn't mind to throw others under the bus) and faux-humility are not enough in my book.
Not exactly weird, since he has been asked the same question for gazillion times. No need to 'defend' on EVERY interview.

It's just that with every interview, he always drags Taylor into conversation. Can't he just stop, and talk about his own stuff? I said it, stuffs has cooled down with Taylor. No need to throw pity-party everyday.
I appreciate him for sticking up for The Lord, but srsly, he just seems really fake. Like I hate how people accuse Taylor of being immature when he acts like a 5 year old.
I mean stop talking about The Lord. the interview is going really well talking about his stuff etc then he'll name drop Taylor & of course the follow up question is obviously about Her & might as well talk about Her the whole interview. and there's so many ways to hint that you don't want to talk about a certain topic if you really want to avoid it.
and about him not caring about "fame", "popularity" etc. it comes of fake. like him complaining about ei. he's always on the worst dress list. if he really doesn't care he shouldn't look it up to complain about it in the first place. I mean it's part of your job to look presentable like it or not at least wear some decent clothes.
and the double standard. when it comes to him he's adorable, cute etc but the same thing with taylor She's immature, whinny etc.
& there's a lot more & i just won't say it one by one this is not his thread etc.

i really like it when it comes to The Lord it's like it's not shocking anymore that She offers help to sick fans, make their dreams come true, help the needy etc it's like yeah She's Taylor Swift what do you expect
but when it comes to other artists, it's shocking it will be headlines in several websites and such.
