When I was younger, my family used to buy me random christmas albums for christmas
I've never even listened to them because I hated all kind of christmas music. I even skipped "Last Christmas" when it was playing on the radio/TV.
I'll listen to this one, I guess. But I don't feel like using it.
My family also have some albums of Xmas music and I hate/used to hate them all. I liked only Jingle Bells. I slowly started to like Xmas related songs like 4 years ago thans to 'Christmas Is All Around' being used in one czech commercial and then thanks to film 'Love Actually'... Actually thanks to that movie I became a stan of Kelly because The Trouble With Love Is was used in it. Later I found out that MLWSWY by the same singer was really popular in Czech republic in that time and that was the beginning of my stanship. In fact thanks to Xmas related music. I still dislike it tho.
The ones that hate Christmas music are the ones that hate Christmas itself. For random reasons, like not getting the present they wanted, or daddy left mommy for uncle tom or they got raped. I personally adore Christmas and even listen to Kelly's I'll be home for Christmas frequently.

Mess. Or maybe some of us just don't care for Christmas music itself. Ch, the arrogance in that assumption. Long story short, my folks couldn't afford Xmas since 2005 so we just appreciate the time we have (esp since both parents are terminally ill; and Xmas music is annoying in majority of its jingles. The real joy in Christmas is family time, not the gifts or the music).

Well, I do like Mariah Carey's song. At least it doesn't drive me nuts like the other jingles.
