BUT might be my favorite Kumi song to this day. It took me some getting used to just like her as a whole, but I'm not even sure if she can top that masterclass BOP.
Beach Mix was just ok imo. I enjoyed Driving Hits 4 the most so far, the latest one is really bad though. I love dubstep, but the way it was used on most of the new remixes was just cringe-worthy.
I don't understand where Kana's success is coming from. Sure, her songs and voice is cute, but she's so painfully ordinary it's just odd.
It truly helps when you have a song linked to a hit animated movie, hit animated series, and television drama in Japan. Which then doesn't explain how Crystal Kay doesn't have the same success...

She's the perfect Japanese girl. Her songs are tailor-made for Recochoku and she's seen as a good role model as she keeps it cute and clean. Thats all there really is to it. \
Random but I've been listening to May J's cover of Precious a lot lately. I may even like it better than the original. Looking forward to her Music Station performance next week.
