Idk tbh, I think it was kind of smart of her to tell us about ARTPOP and that it was her next album name. It gave many fans something to look forward too so they dont just forget about gaga and know she'll be back...if that made any sense
I agree, and I think the whole blackout/hiatus thing threw a lot of us off
like we all got excited for the new project and now we have no solid information to look forward to, besides that it's called ARTPOP and will be released (hopefully) sometime this year and she doesn't even talk to us anymore hahaha

But I don't understand how she can post lyric after lyric if the album wasn't close to done. She should've kept her mouth shut if all she's done is the lyrics
Those are practically all cringeworthy in comparison to her previous work, I want writers for her next album I mean, compare them to The Fame/The Fame Monster and lyrics by Rihanna/Katy/Taylor etc, those were all a lot better... She needs to put out something with normal lyrics that people can relate to

that too, I think if she had held off on releasing even the album title things would be a lot different now
she could have and should have announced the title after the born this way ball ended, then the wait for the album wouldn't have felt as dragged out as it does now

That's the thing, her lyrics aren't relatable anymore. And from what we've gotten so far, it looks as though ARTPOP is even less relatable than BTW was

I don't think the GP is as aware as you think they are in terms of lyrics. Look at Gangnam Style for example. They don't understand it yet it smashed But I get what your saying, relatable lyrics can go far in terms of the song's meaning and impact.
