Because Ciara actually has a fan base... Will.i.am. is basically the Puff Daddy of the 00's. Sure we love the songs he makes with other people but no one wants to hear Will.i.am. or Diddy by themselves.

You are reaching with this Will.I.Am compassion; you thirsty, power-bottom! First off, Will.I.Am isn't a star, never has been and never will be. He is today's Pharell of electronic Pop music; amazing in the background, not so much as a front man.

Though you would love to drag ciara's album sales with the #willpower compassion, but a more appropriate comparison would be #willpower to 2004's Schizophrenic by JC Chasez, which flopped as well, but performed a hell of lot better.
