For one, will.i.am needed the song to be a hit and actually did everything to make it happen.
Not to mention the fact that Scream & Shout, although ALSO basic as hell, is a very different kind of basic, as in it appeals to
anyone.
'Ooh La La' sounds like it came straight out of a Nickelodeon 2003 TV show.
